How come liberals that claim corporations are evil (Despite being able to create jobs, mass produce products/services at cheap prices) are usually pot-smoking hippies who are still in college with %26quot;wonderful%26quot; idea's on how to change the world?
How come liberals that say %26quot;Big business is evil%26quot; are usually high school/college students?
I can't speak for all liberals (and neither can you), but I don't say that %26quot;big business is evil.%26quot; I realize that big business contributes to Democrats. I realize big business hires lots of folks -- I should; I worked at Boeing for years.
I just know that the goal of big business is making money, and nothing more. There are many more goals that humans have that are important, and if it's not regulated, big business can ride roughshod over the other valuable goals. A perfect example is the biggest health insurance company in California that made record profits last quarter but now is raising their rates by 39%. Proof that big business must be regulated.
And Bernie Madoff was a CROOK, regardless of who he votes for. I don't care for crooks from either Party and I'll bet you don't either.

They usually don't know that Fortune 500 executives support Democrats.

Plus they don't yet realize the tax burden that the dems are saddling them with for the rest of their lives
And they don't seem to realize that Madoff is a Democrat.
businesses grow.. dont be a hypocrit and condemn success if that's what you want yourselves.
They have to brown nose the teacher
I'm 53-year-old Liberal with an MBA who DOESN'T think %26quot;big business is evil%26quot;, but I do think they have more power than they should.
and they don't seem to realize Hollywood is %26quot;Big business%26quot;. One of the biggest actually.
How many different accounts are you going to use to answer your own question, TROLL?
Big business is not evil. Greedy people are.
They believe themselves to all be independently wealthy and owe no allegiance to any corporation... Really, they're just tools.
The school systems have brainwashed that into there little minds.
By the time they finish college and start working, the say %26quot;Big business (may be) evil, but at least they give me a pay check.%26quot;
most are career students that will rarely if ever pay their stare of taxes so their policy's don't effect them. It also means they will never hold a real job so the 60+% of Americans that are employed by these evil businesses have little to no relevance to their thought process.
Really? Everyone agrees that Lands' End should never have been bought by Sears and Holding Company. A mid-sized company eaten up by a huge corporation. Absolutely no one thought that Sears would be good for Lands' End. And it has proven true to an extent. Anyone who visited the distribution center a decade ago would not like the barren changes to the atrium today. There are ugly bare spots where plants used to grow year round. Apparently more people have lost jobs than gained out of the deal.
I guess all of those economists, workers, etc who are involved in watching Sears destroy the work environment at Lands' End are just being foolish in your eyes.
%26quot;College%26quot; is the key word here. Educated people are more liberal. It's a consequence of, you know, knowing things.
