Myself and two lady colleagues are somewhat jaded by our office life - we are professional ladies with good skills in the office world, and are good at rearranging our pens and pencils, but seek a new challenge in a less politically charged yet meaningful environment. nothing but nuts as far as the eye could see!
mind you it takes 300psi of pressure to crack a macadamia nut so you may need to get yourself to the gym and start pumping them bisceps!

try and do something that you enjoy, then when the business needs a lot of hard work you will enjoy it.
secondly look at your skills and aptitude. if you need to get additional skills then get them before you start.
do a business plan. god this is beginning to sound like one of my seminars . get a good accountant to review your business and then when you are ready go and conquer the world :)
