What job opportunities await an individual with membership to the California Bar JD and an additional Ed.D.?

I think this question is best addressed to people in the legal profession and in the business world although others are welcome to respond. My JD degree will be through a famous online correspondence school in California. I also have about 15 years experience in public schools and a Doctorate in Education. I'm fluent in Italian and have studied Spanish. Although I will earn a JD degree, it is not approved by the ABA. Has anyone got a suggestion as to which careers would be best fitting for a middle-aged person making midlife job changes?

Find out which states let you sit for their bar exam without having gone to an ABA approved school if you are looking to practice law. But there's no way you can practice in CA without having gone to a school approved by CA, and it sounds like you didn't. That means using your degree to impress people or in some quasi legal sense. Maybe a paralegal position or legal assistant position in a firm that does international law?? Good luck!
