Which handshake should a professional woman have?

Ive always thought a firm handshake oozes confidence in the business world. I have however begun to change my mind. Ive seen very aristocratic types who lightly squeeze a hand from the top and not shake it. Does it convey you are a classier person if you are not all gung ho about it? Tell me what you think...

Personally, I find it off-putting when a woman or anyone for that matter, tries to get tough with a handshake. There is a happy medium that can be reached. Most importantly, a solid lock should be attained so that each person's hands are secured where the thumbs webbing meets the hand. %26quot;Shaking%26quot; a hand isn't necessary when a slight up and down will do. A handshake should be an acknowledgment of a person and a way to say hello. Are you trying to yell %26quot;HELLO%26quot; or just say %26quot;hi%26quot;?

Wemen probobly shake firmley with the upper hand!%26gt;?
A firm hand shake is best, but a lot of times we as women do too hard when are shaking a mans hand because we are trying to overcompensate.

firm but not rough, it shows that you are serious.
