the first answer given here was very good. I just want to add some examples:
1. why advertising causes people to live beyond their means (part of the credit crunch problem)
2. advocate for a shelter for battered women. some shelters give women skills to effectively join the work force and become financially independent.
3. women should be able to choose to give birth when they have an unwanted pregnancy, and not be pushed into an abortion.
In the end, you have to choose a topic that speaks to you, and that will help your presentation be authentic and persuasive.

-You could look at some debated issue at your school's campus.Tell your classmates what they can do to help solve the problem.
-You could tell them about an organization and why they should volunteer there. Be sure to bring volunteer applications with you to further encourage their participation.
-Present a political issue and give them ways to work with government to fix it. EX) how to contact their Senator/Congressman.
