Hi,
Im a 17years old economy student and need to start a business as a project for school.
I`ve never done it before and need to merchandise with a kind of supplies.
Now i ask you people,what are things that have a good surviving change in the outside world?
Don`t come with bracelets or silly stuff,i need real deal things to practise with.
Project for school: start a Business yourself,what things to sell?
Look around you and see what stores are successful and have been in business for some time. Then apply those principals you have learned to that type of business. The usual pick is a MOm %26amp; Pop grocery store. In a neighborhood yet on a busy street. Good parking. Quick in and out. Not near a Walmart or big grocery store.
Here's a good story. Two college guys come to the beach here for spring break. They see there is a need for a surf shop and they build a very casual one. Everyone comes because it is the cool place to be. It is right off an exclusive area and they all come so they start selling swimming suits etc. As the more wealthy come they sell more expensive stuff and build a better bigger place and it is still the cool place. They were there for several years and doing well but then a hurricane came in and washed them away. They didn't buy insurance. They went back to college. True story.
