Can you rephrase this essay?

There are six million people inhabiting planet Earth. That is six million souls that have one thing in common: living. Living might be a little difficult if the conditions are not healthy. Circumstances, such as the ones the Earth are being put under, are currently not making it easy to live for long. The most popularly known catastrophe, global warming, is an ongoing and growing phenomenon, which it's effects are mustering before our eyes. Companies and corporations which have contributed to the atmosphere's weakening are starting to make an effort towards ceasing global warming. Less production, new eco-friendly products and more awareness might keep this world turning-literally.

Global warming was announced to the public in 1990, when the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reported that the world has been warming and future warming seems likely. In 1995, the IPCC sent out a second report, stating that the greenhouse effect is human-caused. Plastic is one of the major toxic pollutants of our time. Being a non-biodegradable substance, composed of toxic chemicals, plastic pollutes the Earth, air and water. Plastic causes serious damage to the environment, both during its production and disposal. So, the only way to reduce the hazards of plastic is to reduce the use of plastic, and thereby force a reduction in its production. Poland Spring, the world's most popular water, commenced their global warming prevention efforts in 2007 when they introduced a new line of water bottles. The half-liter, 20 ounce, 1 liter, and 1 and a half liter bottles are all now made up of 30% less plastic than the original models. Matter of fact, all of Nestle's companies (Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ice Mountain, Ozarka and Zephyrillis) have lessened the amount of plastic used to make their bottles. In effect, the percentage of recycled water bottles jumped from 23% to 29%. The recycling efficiency caused Poland Spring's sales to increase, as well as make consumers more interested-eco-friendly or foe.

In 1997, Toyota released the the world's first eco-friendly, hybrid automobile-the Prius. The Prius was the start to an economic revolution. In 2010 the average car costs 30,000 dollars. The Prius starts at 22,000 dollars. 8,000 dollars is just the start to the savings this car has to offer. Gas prices have been cyclic, yet essentially increasing ever since the world experienced the worst oil shortage since 1990. The Prius drives on both fuel and electricity, which means fuel is not depended on to run the car. With an 11% higher energy density, the battery of the Prius conducts the car before the gas comes into play. If the battery life never runs to a low point then gas is not necessary. With a 9.9 gallon gas tank, an estimated 50 mile per gallon output and a sealed Nickle-Metal Hydride battery, Toyota's greatest invention is sure to help reduce the global Carbon Dioxide levels.

Globally, Poland Spring's new design for their water bottles and Toyota's Prius will change the rate at which this Earth's atmosphere is deteriorating. Little by little these two businesses are making up for the people polluting and tarnishing the Earth. The only way these companies were able to achieve their goal of helping the Earth's health was too appease the economy. Whether it was a decrease in price or a more aesthetically pleasing design, Poland Spring and Toyota needed to make a change in their business plan, in order to change the world. The supply and demand of both of these companies products have both jumped due to business plan changes, which, in effect, has aided this planet's new path to a clean environment.
